Since 1970,
Hotsy has helped thousands of businesses save time and money by keeping
valuable parts and equipment clean. The Hotsy product line has something to
meet nearly every industrial cleaning need. Flow rates of the pressure
washers and steam cleaners range from 2.2 to 6.0 gallons per minute at
pressures from 1000 to 3000 PSI. The equipment can be either portable or
stationary, the pumps can run on gasoline, diesel or electric motors (110,
220 or 440V), the water heaters can be fired by oil or natural gas, and some
units use cold water. Automatic and remote controls are available on some
units.
Beyond Pressure Washers...
Parts Washers
Pressure washers are great, but they require an operator to apply the spray gun to the surfaces to be cleaned. Fortunately, Hotsy parts washers are just right for items small enough to be loaded into the machine. Small enough? For Hotsy washers, that could mean tiny electronic circuit boards or automobile engine blocks and transmissions. Since the washers are automatic, workers are free to do income-producing tasks during the wash cycle.
The rotary tables in the washers assure that all surfaces are exposed to the cleaning spray, and the wash cycle can be set for as long as needed. The washers are available as top-loaders or font-loaders, and the water heaters can be either electric or gas-fired. Rinse guns, parts racks and other accessories are available as options.
Wash-Water Recycling Systems
Getting parts clean is important, but what do you do with the dirty wash-water?
Hotsy recycling systems can remove contaminants from the water, rendering it clean and safe, either for recycling in the washer or for liberating to the environment or municipal sewer system. Recycling equipment includes oil-water separators, settling tanks and filters.
Environmental Compliance
Old-style industrial washers clean with solvents. This exposes the operators to toxic fumes, creates fire and explosion hazards, and leads to environmental problems with solvent disposal. Thankfully, all of that can now be consigned to the past. Hotsy washers use hot or cold water and specially formulated detergents to take the hazard out of heavy-duty washing.
The detergents are USDA-approved and biodegradable, with additives to protect washers from scale and corrosion. Even though the detergents are safe, the filth being washed off may not be. The Hotsy closed washers prevent operator contact and the wash-water recyclers keep ground water and sewage systems safe. |
